La Ràpita extends along the bay of Els Alfacs. It is sheltered from the rough sea by a large sandbar formed by the sediments that the Ebro River has carried into the sea (Punta de la Banya), and the Sierra del Montsià that watches over the daily life of the fishing village.

This privileged location makes one of its main attractions the fine sandy beaches with shallow waters, ideal for family tourism and practicing all types of water sports.
